Academic Journals

Currently, the faculty has 3 specialized journals. Two of them are in Persian; one in economics and the other pertains to Political Science and International Relations. The faculty has one interdisciplinary journal which is published in English. Below, a more detail of each journal is presented.
 

Quarterly Journal of Economics and Modeling

With a history of about 10 years, the journal falls within the highest ranking journals in the ministry of Research, Science and Technology. It publishes authoritative articles in the following areas:

Energy Economics

This publication does not charge authors for reviewing, processing and publishing; rather, all costs are covered by Shahid Beheshti University Press. The journal is available free of charge in both print and online version at the following address. https://ecoj.sbu.ac.ir/?lang=en
The director-in-charge is Dr. Abbas Arab Mazar, the editor-in-chief is Dr. Ali Akbar Arab Mazar and the manager is Dr. Mehdi Yazdani.
 

Quarterly Journal of Political and International Approaches

Quarterly Journal of Political and International Approaches, started its activity in 2000 as an academic journal with the aim of developing an Iranian-Islamic approach in the field of political science and international relations. The journal falls within the highest grade of journals in Iran.
The director in charge of this publication is Dr. Seyed Abdolali Ghavam, the editor in chief  is Dr. Mansour Mirahmadi and the manager is Dr. Reza Khorasani.
 

International Journal of Economics and Politics

The journal is published by Shahid Beheshti University. The aim of this journal is to provide a forum for economists, politicians and other disciplines which are concerned with political economy including law, sociology and the like to publish their theoretical and practical research in the field of economics and politics and political economy. Some influential issues which deal with the daily life of a citizen and are simultaneously considered as political economy issues are as the following:
