Department of Economics

The department currently has 17 faculty members and Dr. Hossein Samsami is the head of the department. Currently, the Department of Economics accepts students in three levels: Bachelor's, Master's and Doctorate. The doctoral program also has majors in development economics, monetary economics, international economics, and public sector economics.

The Department of Economics has a total of 418 students includes 264 undergraduate students, 113 masters’ students (in three majors of Pure Economics, Economic Systems Planning and Energy Economics) and 40 PhD students (International Economics, Economic Development and Monetary Economics).

Department of Political Science

The department currently has 14 faculty members and is managed by Dr. Reza Khorasani. The Department of Political Science accepts students in three levels: Bachelor (Political Science), Master (Political Science, Political Thought in Islam, International Relations and Regional Studies) and PhD (Political Science and International Relations).

Department of Political Science has a total of 362 students, including 123 undergraduate students, 199 graduate students (political science, political thought in Islam, international relations and regional studies) and 41 doctoral students (in 3 majors of International Relations and Political Science)

The faculty as a whole, has a total of 387 undergraduate students, 312 graduate students and 81 doctoral students and has a total of 780 students.
